ေဗဒါလမ္း

 ညိဳ ျပာျပာ လတာျပင္ေျခရင္း

လိႈင္းတက္ရာ ေဗဒါတက္၊ လႈိင္းသက္ရာဆင္း။ 

ဆင္းရလဲ မသက္သာ။
အုန္းလက္ေၾကြေရေပါေလာ၊ ေမ်ာစုန္လို႔လာ
အဆင္းနဲ႔အလာ၊ ေဗဒါမ အေထြး။ 

အုန္းလက္ေၾကြသူ႔နံေဘး၊ ေဆာင့္ခဲ့ရေသး။

ေဆာင့္ခဲ့လဲ မသက္သာ။
ေနာက္တခ်ီ ဒီတစ္လံုးက၊ ဖံုးလိုက္ျပန္ပါ
ျမည္ေလေပါ့ ေပၚမလာ၊ မေဗဒါအလွ

တစ္လံကြာ လႈိင္းအၾကြ၊ ေပၚလိုက္ျပန္ရ။

ေပၚျပန္လဲ မသက္သာ။

ေခ်ာင္းအဆြယ္ ေျမာင္းငယ္ထဲက၊ ဘဲထြက္လို႔လာ

ဘဲအုပ္မွာ တစ္ရာႏွစ္ရာ၊ ေဗဒါက တစ္ပင္ထဲ

အယက္အကန္ခံလို႔ ေဗဒါပ်ံအံကိုခဲ၊ ပန္းပန္လ်က္ဘဲ။

HYACINTH WAY

At the blue-grey mud-flat's edge

Hyacinth goes ashore with the wave

And down to sea again as the wave recedes.

No bed of roses for her

Jostled by Flotsam,

Submerged by breakers

Hie to the creek for shelter

From palm-fronds and billows

and now what? DUCKS!

Two hundred ducks!

Quacking and racking!

Poor lone Hyacinth

Must grin and bear it!
